We had a fun 3 day weekend thanks to Pioneer Day. I took the boys to the zoo in SLC and they had dinosaur days going on. They had about 10-15 animetronic exhibits with the sound. The boys didn't really care about the real animals so most of the pictures are of the dinos. It was a long day...

... so the kids slept on the way home.

Monday we went to the local splash park. Its nice when the kids like to do things that are free.

Here are our boys sleeping. Austin is sleeping like a normal kid, and Kaden...
... not so much. Aunt Miss (who is pregnant) showed up today and I'm guessing that has something to do with it. Hopefully he did this in his sleep, but then again what would he be dreaming about. I can't imagine doing this on purpose and trying to fall asleep. Anybody else's kid do weird things in thier sleep?

This was fathers day. No way was I about to lose a 3 legged race. Sorry for the graininess of the video, it was done with an old camera in our back yard. In case you can't tell I am the one in the red shorts.

This past weekend we went on hike/bike ride up the mountains behind our house. I was actually really impressed with how the boys did. The only complaining was from Kaden (he gets that from his mom) saying how tired he was every 30 seconds. I would have stopped and rested but since Austin wasn't tired I figure Kade was just being whinny.

Before I get in trouble...

Sarah is not a complainer now, but she says she always complained as a kid.
Kade took the above picture. I think it is the first one ever we didn't have to delete for being crooked, heads missing, etc.

I was reading some news on Yahoo the other day and came across this article about switching heads on family pics. Some of them were pretty funny and I thought I would try my hand at it. Since I have 3 boys, I will have to post the other 2 later to not show favorites.

Happy Father's day. This weekend we had the Father and sons ward campout. The highlight of the trip was a snake that was found with his head removed. I tried to get the boys to hold it up with a stick but I guess I taught them too well to be afraid of snakes. This is the closest either boy would get to the decapitated reptile.I don't know how many have heard or care about the flooding going on this year but here is a picture of a "waterfall" and another picture from the year before. The boys weren't allowed to go near any rivers this time.

REALLY? SERIOUSLY? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Happy Memorial/snow day. No BBQ at our house. Days like this, I almost wish I lived in CA.
